تبّلت نوعا ما أكثر هذا وقت وعقب طويلة خمسة شهور ينتظرون أنا أخيرا إلى الخلف في آسيا ل ي [2ند] رحلة إلى المنطقة مع [سترت بوينت] مختلفة تماما هذا وقت: [هونغ كونغ].

[هونغ كونغ] سوفت كنت إنتقال ناعمة ل أيّ شخص يأتي [فور ث فيرست تيم] إلى آسيا من [نورث مريك] أو الالاتّحاد الأوروبي. واحدة استطاع صورة [هونغ كونغ] كرؤية منهاتن, ينشأ من [سوث شنا سا] حيث شرق والغرب يصطدم في أسلوب عظيمة مع بما أنّ علاوة هو يكون ممتعة كلّ سنة مناخ مستديرة [سوب-تروبيكل]. يحضر الخلفيّة [مولتي-ثنيك] [هونغ كونغ] يتلقّى دائما كثيرا إلى التنوع من المدينة. بينما البارعة و [ستريتويس] متعلّق بالمقاطعة على أحسن وجه يوصف ك [يوركرس] جديدة من الصين مع تاريخهم من منقطعة يتاجر يصطلح الأغلبية من [هونغ كونغ] 7 مليون السّكان قوّيّة بينما جماعة كبيرة بريطانيّة بعد يبقى. غير أنّ هو كثير أكثر متنوّعة من فقط صينيّ والبريطانيوّن يعيش [سد بي سد]. العلويّة عشرة جماعات أنّ يشكّل الإحصائيّات سكّانيّة [هونغ كونغ] في أمر: صينيّ, فيليبينيّات, [إيندونسنس], [كوكسن], هنديات, [نبلس], يابانية, [ثي] وباكستانيّ. واحدة شيء أنّ يكون ل يوقن أنت سيختبر واحدة من البيئات مثيرة مدنيّة أكثر في أيّ وقت يبنى برجل. رغم أنّ أكثر ينظّم ومنظفة من برّ رئيسيّ الصين ه أيضا جدّا مختلفة سياسيّا. الأخيرة أوساط نوبة يحيط القادمة أولمبيّة لعب وحادثات في تيبت أمكن يتلقّى كثير يتساءل كيف [هونغ كونغ] مختلفة يكون من الصين بما أنّ ال 1997 إنتقال السيادة.

تلقّيت يكون منطقة خاصّة إداريّة [هونغكونجرس] يشبع منفذة أن يقرأ (أو كتبت أيّ شيء هم يريدون) في المستقلّة صحافة وعلبة مثلا بسهولة [بورشس بووك] يكتب ب [دلي] [لما]. هناك كان أثناء ي إقامة جدار أن يحوّط تغطية في الأوساط من ماذا كان ذهب فوق في تيبت وكيف أكثر صينيّة يكون غير واع من ماذا يكون يحدث. الصين حددت دور في [هونغ كونغ] "تقنيّا" إلى [نأيشنل دفنس] و [فورين فّير] رغم أنّ هو يعالج كثير قوة في الخلفيّة.

من أصوله كأفيون مينة إلى الرأس مال مسعورة ماليّة هو اليوم, يقول هم [هونغ كونغ] يتلقّى دائما يكون مدينة مثيرة. غير أنّ يترك كافي مع كلمة ويتلقّى [لووك فور] بنفسي بما أنّ هو يكون وقت أن يلفّ خارجا بعض صور من ماذا رغبته…

Unless you are in a big hurry you should ignore the underground subway rails and roads between Hong Kong Island and Kowloon in favor of the more thrilling and old style crossing of the harbor on board of the Star Ferry. At just under HK$2 ($0.25 USD) even though not totally free as the New York Staten Island Ferry would be its still the best Hong Kong sightseeing bargain you’ll get where you can get enjoy an excellent view of the skyscrapers and hills of the island. Continuously running since 1888 and still carrying over 70 000 passengers daily you won’t have long to wait from the pier since one departs every 5-10 minutes. Opened from 6:30 until 23:30.

Hong Kong’s Very modern MTR system is always joy to ride on. With over 3 000 000 passengers each day it delivers a cheap, easy, quick and efficient way of Travel across Hong Kong’s territories with all of its signs made bilingual English/Chinese. Sure makes seem what I use daily at home now to be of third world standards.

DAY 2:

TIAN TAN BUDDHA AND PO LIN MONASTERY

The Precious Lotus Zen Temple or Po Lin Monastery has come a long way from the small little house built by three monks to venerate Buddha in 1906 and nicknamed “The Big Hut”. The main attraction nowadays though is the 68 000 000$ Big Buddha that was completed on a hill next to it in 1993 and which became instantly one of the most popular tourist attractions of Hong Kong. The peaceful surroundings and mountains all around makes it a particularly nice gettaway from the hustle and bustle of the city.

HOW TO GET THERE:

The easiest and fastest way would be to take the MTR to the Tung Chung (35 minutes from Hong Kong cental station) then hop on bus No.23 for $16 HKD (45 minutes). Alternatively for $88 HKD you can take the 5.7 km Ngong Ping 360 Skyrail from Tung Chung station for a nicer view from the air.

Also possible to be reached by Boat from within Hong Kong island at the Central Pier No. 6 ferry to Mui Wo on Lantau Island (one hour) then hop on bus No. 2 (45 minute).

Big Buddha standing (or should I say more accurately sitting) directly in front of me.. This imposing 260 tons bronze statue is among the largest seated Buddha representations in the world (was the tallest outdoor one until 2007) at 26 meters high.
