After a day spent on Phuket's Karon beach recovering from a substantial hangover due to four days of partying during the Thai New Year celebrations in Bangkok I headed early in the morning for the short boat journey to the Phi Phi (pronounced 'pee pee') islands. بعد أن قضوا يوما على شاطئ كارون بوكيت يتعافى من مخلفات كبيرة نظرا لأربعة أيام من الحفلات خلال السنة الاحتفالات التايلاندي الجديد في بانكوك توجهت في الصباح الباكر للرحلة القارب قصيرة إلى فاي فاي (وضوحا 'بول بول') الجزر . With just a few days left to spend in Thailand before moving onto Indonesia I definitely had to give a try at one of those mythical Thai tropical island of the Andaman coast so I decided to play it safe and choose the most talked about for it's unparalleled natural beauty as a destination. مع بضعة أيام فقط من اليسار إلى إنفاق في تايلاند قبل الانتقال الى اندونيسيا كان لي بالتأكيد لإعطاء محاولة في واحدة من تلك الجزر التايلاندية الأسطورية الاستوائية على ساحل أندامان لذلك قررت أن يلعب هو آمن واختيار أكثر تحدث عن لانها لم يسبق لها مثيل الطبيعية جمال كوجهة.

The two main islands of this protected marine reserve are uninhabited Koh Phi Phi Lei, the one that put firmly it on the mass tourism trail overnight when the movie “the Beach” with Leonardo Di Caprio was filmed on location and Koh Phi Phi Don, where the ferry will drop you off and the only one where accommodations and (over)development is authorized. الرئيسي لهذه الجزر غير المأهولة هي المحمية احتياطي البحرية واثنين من كوه فاي فاي لى ، واحد التي وضعت عليه بحزم على درب السياحة الجماعية بين عشية وضحاها عندما فيلم "الشاطئ" مع ليوناردو دي كابريو تم تصويره في مكان وفاي فاي دون كوه ، حيث والعبارة قبالة لكم قطرة واحدة فقط حيث اماكن الاقامة و(أكثر) تطوير ويؤذن.

While the ferry slowly approached Koh Phi Phi Don the first impressions were all but disappointing as the first glimpses revealed long stretches of white sand beaches where vivid turquoise waters gave way to massive Limestone cliffs surrounded by miles of trackless forest on each side of the island. في حين أن العبارة اقتربت ببطء كوه فاي فاي دون والانطباعات الأولى ولكن جميع مخيبة للآمال حيث كشفت أول لمحات فترات طويلة من الشواطئ الرملية البيضاء حيث المياه الفيروزية حية تفسح الطريق أمام الحجر الجيري المنحدرات ضخمة تحيط بها أميال من الغابات غير مطروق على كل جانب من الجزيرة. Immediately comparisons with مقارنات مباشرة مع El Nido شركة نيدو in the Philippines came to mind as both share similarities. وجاء في الفلبين إلى الذهن على حد سواء أوجه التشابه سهم. While Koh Phi Phi Don is set on a much more grandiose scale it lacks the variety and virgin state of the surrounding islands in the Bacuit Bay. في حين تم تعيين كوه فاي فاي دون على نطاق وأكثر من ذلك بكثير متكلفا أنها تفتقر إلى التنوع ودولة العذراء الجزر المحيطة بها في خليج Bacuit.

But since 80 to 90% of the Phi Phi Don's accommodations are around this central portion of the island in the Tonsai Village the place can get a bit claustrophobic and packed so you might want to escape a bit further down southwest to Had Yao or “Long Beach” which is considered the best with the softest and finest white sand.  Further North on the East coast as location gets more remote things calm down and become much more peaceful. ولكن منذ 80-90 ٪ من أماكن الإقامة وفاي فاي دون هم حول هذا الجزء الأوسط من الجزيرة في القرية Tonsai مكان يمكن الحصول على لقمة خانق ومعبأة حتى انك قد ترغب في الهروب قليلا إلى مزيد من الانخفاض فى جنوب غرب لوسجل ياو أو "لونغ بيتش "الذي يعتبر الأفضل مع أنعم والرمال البيضاء أفضل. شمالا على الساحل الشرقي كموقع يحصل على أكثر من بعد تهدأ الامور وتصبح أكثر سلمية.

I definitely had a love-hate relationship with Koh Phi Phi and ultimately whether you like it or not will depends on your idea of what good times on an island in paradise is.  Being one of the prominent destinations on the Southeast Asia backpacker trail, expect to be surrounded by hundreds of other Caucasian foreigners (mostly in their early 20′s) enjoying the bars and all night parties as much as beaches and water-sports. كان لي بالتأكيد علاقة الحب والكراهية مع كوه وفاي فاي في نهاية المطاف ما إذا كانت تريد ذلك ام لا سوف يعتمد على فكرة لديك ما الأوقات الجيدة على جزيرة في الجنة. كونها واحدة من الوجهات البارزة على الرحال في جنوب شرق آسيا درب ، ويتوقع أن يكون محاطا بمئات من الاجانب القوقازية الأخرى (معظمها في 20 في وقت مبكر ل) تتمتع الحانات وجميع الأطراف ليلة قدر الشواطئ والرياضات المائية. While there still is a chance for you to get a moment alone on Phi Phi,  it's not easy… This by all means is by Southeast Asian standards, as it's still but a tiny fraction of what you'd get in the most sought after beach destinations in Europe. في حين لا تزال هناك فرصة للكم للحصول على لحظة وحده على فاي فاي ، انها ليست سهلة... وهذا بكل الوسائل وفقا للمعايير جنوب شرق آسيا ، كما انها لا تزال ولكن نسبة ضئيلة من ما كنت تحصل في أكثر المناطق المرغوبة للشاطئ وجهات في أوروبا.

From Phuket :  A one way ticket will set you back 300 baht and the ferry leaves Phuket at 08h30, 13h30 & 14h30 taking just about  90 minutes. من بوكيت : تذكرة واحدة وبطريقة تحدد لك 300 باهت والعبارة يترك فوكيت في 08h30 ، 13h30 و 14h30 مع حوالي 90 دقيقة فقط. From Phi Phi back to Phuket the ferry leaves at 09h00 & 14h30. فاي فاي من العودة الى فوكيت العبارة يترك في 09h00 و 14h30.

Krabi: A one way ticket will set you back 300 baht and the ferry leaves Krabi at 10h00 & 15h00 taking just about  90 minutes. : ألف تذكرة واحدة وطريقة كرابي تحدد لك 300 باهت والعبارة يترك كرابي في 10h00 و 15h00 مع حوالي 90 دقيقة فقط. The port itself where the ferry leaves is around 5km from the town of Krabi so just arrange pickup with your hotel in Krabi. الميناء نفسه حيث العبارة يترك هو 5km حول من مدينة كرابي حتى مجرد ترتيب بيك اب مع فندقك في كرابي. From Phi Phi back to Phuket the ferry leaves 08h00, 10h00 & 14:30. فاي فاي من العودة الى فوكيت العبارة يترك 08h00 ، 10h00 و 14:30.

Ao Nang : A one way ticket will set you back 350 baht and the ferry leaves Ao Nang at 09h00 taking an hour. نانغ : ألف تذكرة واحدة وطريقة آو تحدد لك 350 باهت والعبارة يترك آو نانغ في اتخاذ 09h00 ساعة. From Phi Phi back to Phuket the ferry leaves at 15h30. فاي فاي من العودة الى فوكيت العبارة يترك في 15h30.

Ko Lanta :  A one way ticket will set you back 350 baht and the ferry leaves Phuket at 08h30 & 13h00 (only during high season) taking just about 90 minutes. From Phi Phi back to Phuket the ferry leaves at 11h30, 14h00 & 15h00. كو Lanta : هناك طريقة واحدة تذكرة سوف تحدد لك 350 باهت والعبارة يترك فوكيت في 08h30 و 13h00 (فقط خلال موسم الذروة) مع حوالى 90 دقيقة فقط. فاي فاي من العودة الى فوكيت العبارة يترك في 11h30 ، 14h00 و 15h00.
